Congress should fund a universal school meal program where All children receive free school meals every day. The old system where parents must fill out an income-based application every year, for each child, to try to obtain free or reduced price meals is cumbersome and some kids inevitably fall through the cracks. And, schools should not be forced to provide an "alternate" (lesser) meal for kids any other kids whose accounts have run out of money. This is a no-brainer. Just feed all the kids - every day - without making kids, parents and schools jump through unnecessary hoops. Period.

We will be offering summer meals at Krause Elementary School beginning June 6th! Children need to be present and meals will be consumed on site. Please see the flyer below for details.
