Here's an upcoming opportunity to be involved in some NAD Park course maintenance with The NAD Restoration Project
🥏We have 4 work parties coming up with WYCA cadets, and we need wheelbarrows and volunteers to make them happen!
Over the last two years, the restoration of NAD Park DGC has grown into something we're really proud of. We get so many compliments on how the course is developing and a big part of that is thanks to the **Washington Youth Challenge Academy**, an organization that provides structure and discipline for at-risk youth through community service.
🛒 **Wheelbarrows needed!** Our past lenders have come from all over Kitsap, from Port Orchard to Bainbridge Island. We need wheelbarrows from the 22nd through the 12th. Drop yours off, or we'll pick it up for a small gas money donation. We'll store it securely between work parties and get it back to you by mid-September.
**The volunteer work** is light and genuinely fun. Just direct cadets where to dump wood chips and cheer them on. That's it!
📅 **Dates:** Aug 22, Aug 29, Sept 5, Sept 12
⏰ **Times:** 8:30-3:30, with morning (8:30-12) or afternoon (12-3:30) shifts available, or stay all day!
