R2-KT 26 RT-KT 26 is the Pacific Northwest Droid with a Heart of Gold. Based out of Bremerton Washington. KT was with Katie up until she passed.

A 1:1 scale R2-KT Ambassadroid, sharing Katie’s Cancer Story, promoting Pediatric Cancer Awareness and Bringing joy to kids everywhere. This is the R2-KT-26 Official Page to track events and adventures of the Pink Ambassadroid located in Bremerton, Washington. In 2004 a little girl named Katie, daughter of Albin Johnson, founder of the 501st Legion, fell ill with a brain tumor. Her wish: to have a

pink R2 watch over her like R2-D2 did for Padme in Star Wars. So the Droid Builders community built her one and named it after her: R2-KT. Since then, R2-KT has traveled the U.S. and the world in memory of little Katie. She visits charities, children's hospitals, Star Wars events and more. She collects donations for seriously ill children, supports charity events and raises awareness for charity and children's diseases. In 2008 KT made a cameo in the pilot episode of the Clone Wars animated series. Since then she has appeared in the LEGO: Star Wars features and in 2015 made her onscreen debut in The Force Awakens, making her a part of Star Wars canon. Today there is an army of R2-KT units around the world. Called the AmbassaDroid Corps, replica KT's are on the road as ambassadors at charity events and also collect donations for seriously ill children, visit children's hospitals and much more. KT-26 was joined by KT-40, R2-D2, Chopper, a couple Mouse Droids, a few Fan Droids and a couple members of the 501st Legion and Wall-E from Port Orchard for the Tacoma Robot Expo on Saturday February 21, 2026. We saw over 1300 guests cone throught and conducted two presentations on the main stage. The expo was hosted by the SOTOBots who are a Tacoma Robot competition team comprised of 3 STEM schools who compete at the advanced level in the First Robotics Competitions.

KT-26 attended GalaxyCon at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines IA, September 12-14. We met up with KT-20 and KT-29 as the first gathering of the Pink Force USA. It was a 4 day drive from Bremerton but we had a great time and enjoyed meeting up with other KT Units. The Iowa Star Wars groups helped out a lot and the Iowa Ghostbusters Group was right across from us and great to hang out with over the weekend.

Look forward to some more of these events.

Yuri's Night is an international celebration held every April 12 to commemorate milestones in space exploration. It is named for the first human to launch into space, Yuri Gagarin, who flew the Vostok 1 spaceship on April 12, 1961.

The goal of Yuri's Night is to increase public interest in space exploration and to inspire a new generation of explorers. Driven by space-inspired artistic expression and culminating in a worldwide network of annual celebrations and educational events, Yuri's Night creates a global community of young people committed to shaping the future of space exploration while developing responsible leaders and innovators with a global perspective. These global events are a showcase for elements of culture that embrace space including music, dance, fashion, and art.

The Seattle Museum of Flight Celebrates this day with two events, Yuri’s Day and Yuri’s night, where the day event is family friendly and the evening event is Adults only. R2-KT 26 participated in Yuri’s Day with other Astromech Droids and Star Wars Washington costuming groups
