From black market: “We are so excited to welcome you to the Bremerton Black Market this Friday, June 5th. Help us celebrate our Grand Opening during Bremerton’s First Friday. Doors open at 4 pm.

For the month of June we feature art, authors, jewelry, clothing, hair, skin and beard care products, comic books all created by hometown entrepreneurs. We also offer everyday essential products made by black-led businesses.

And while they last, we’ll be giving out samples of boiled peanuts provided by South 2 West Boiled Peanuts. Can’t wait to see ya, all are welcome.”

Families with students entering 6th grade in Fall 2026 are invited to check out the Future Focused Summer Academy, a free summer program hosted on the Olympic College Bremerton campus.

This program will help students build community, explore their strengths and values, learn about goal setting and hope, improve self-regulation skills, and discover career and college pathways.
