Hello everyone,

We’re excited to share a short community survey created with a group of graduate students from the University of Washington’s Human Centered Design & Engineering program.

As part of their capstone project, they’re working with Kitsap CREATE to help envision a future makerspace, a space for creators, creatives, and tinkerers of all kinds to come together, learn, and build.

We want this space to truly reflect the needs, interests, and values of the Kitsap community. This survey will take five minutes to complete, and is open to any Kitsap resident of any age. We’d love to hear from you!

Survey link in the comments!
Available in English and Spanish!

Thank you for taking the time to share your voice and shape what is possible for our community. If you have any questions or need accommodations, please contact [email protected].

Thank you!

Last year one of our members was showcased on a TV show you might recognize!

Svengoolie!

Walt Beardsley used his 3D printer to print some chocolates featuring Svengoolie's likeness. He later went on to win a ribbon at the Kitsap County Fair using his 3D printed chocolate technology.

Give Walt a big congratulations on both achievements! So glad you're a member of our club!

The Kitsap CREATE meeting is tomorrow, Friday, November 15 from 6:30-8:30pm.

The first hour of the meeting is a show-and-tell style group conversation. Bring your latest projects- completed, half completed, or just a concept. We wanna see what you're working on!

The second hour of the meeting, we'll get to chat and get to know each other. This is when we talk about our project struggles and get help from other CREATErs that are happy to help and offer guidance.
