Scarlet Road Paving the way from s*xual exploitation to wholeness. We respect the choice of each participant and provide services without partiality.

Born out of the desire to see a way out for women and children in the s*x industry Scarlet Road set out to change social perspectives, help the community understand and serve victims of s*xual exploitation, and provide long term support for a population of women and children that was receiving none. Our three founders first came together in 2008, hoping to create more awareness through hosting a F

reedom 5K run. This quickly evolved into a true passion for serving the victims that were within their own reach and since the start of the outreach programs in 2009 they have been journeying with women leaving the commercial s*x industry, and supporting them in the hard transitions they face. The journey that Scarlet Road has been on has been one of passion, hard work and a sincere dedication to exploited women in our community. We have journeyed with many partners in our community and continue to do so in order to create increased knowledge of this issue throughout the Kitsap and North Mason area. Those who set forth building Scarlet Road, did so from a place of motivation for how we as Christians are called to serve and care for the people around us. Though the organization is founded on Christian principles, we strongly believe that anyone seeking support from Scarlet Road, whether they share our faith or not, should have the support and care they seek.

Every day, a survivor of s*xual exploitation in Kitsap makes the bold and brave choice to seek hope and ask for help. In just the first half of 2026, over 230 survivors have come to Scarlet Road to find support, whether it's a dining room table for a new home that is safe and theirs or simply a conversation with someone who believes their story. This support is not possible without the many foundations, community service organizations, tribes, government organizations, churches, businesses, and individuals who provide Scarlet Road with the financial means to offer help where it's needed. When survivors make the brave choice to leave s*xual exploitation, they often need support meeting the most basic needs. Lucky Star Consignment Clothing partners with Scarlet Road to meet the clothing needs of survivors in Kitsap, from ensuring survivors have more than one set of clean clothing to providing professional attire for survivors seeking employment.

You can help meet these needs by donating a maximum of one bag of clothing in great condition per month to Lucky Star in Scarlet Road's name, ensuring the money raised from the items sold goes right back into the survivor clothing fund, where Scarlet Road participants can shop for clothing at no cost.
