It's that time again! The Kitsap County Great Give event is happening until April 19th, 2022.

The Kitsap Great Give is a 24-hour “give-day” event that unites our community through a special online donation platform to support the many nonprofit organizations that make Kitsap a great place to live – for all of us.

In a single day, more than $2 million dollars will be invested in the direct support of our community through donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations to a wide variety of nonprofit organizations. Last year, the event generated $2.19 million from 3,783 donors through 10,016 gifts to support 357 local nonprofit organizations.

Please consider making a donation to the Washington Youth Academy Foundation on the Kitsap County Great Give website! You don't have to wait until April 19th; early giving is available now! Go to https://kitsapgreatgive.org/ and enter Washington Youth Academy Foundation in the "Nonprofit" box and select your donation amount.

November 30th is Giving Tuesday. A global movement that started in 2012 with one simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.
The WYAF needs your help. Unable to hold the face-to-face fundraiser events of the past, the WYAF relies on online donations now more then ever to raise the funds needed to support the students and graduates of the WYA. Funds that provide resources for things like a greenhouse for the WYA campus garden, where studies learn the importance of sustainability by growing their own vegetables and harvesting seeds for future cycles. Funds that provide scholarships to pay for college, technical school, and driver’s ed. That buy computers, and work boots or vocational uniforms. Funds that help graduates like Dustin Jackson pursue a degree in Asian studies and Chinese.

Our mission at the WYAF is to provide academic program support and financial assistance and we cannot do that without the generosity of people like you. Join the Giving Tuesday movement by supporting the WYAF on November 30th.

To donate, go to www.wyafoundation.org and click on Support Us. Then share your participation in this event with all your friends and family by posting about it on your favorite social media sites, and be sure to include to spread the word about this great event.
