Join us for the 12th Annual Salmon for Soldiers Charity Golf Tournament on August 1, 2026 at Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club. The tournament is a 5 person scramble and it will be a celebration of the US 205th Birthday. If you would like to play or if you would like to donate a raffle item, please contact Penny Shelton at [email protected] for more details. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Please help us send more veterans and active duty military members fishing.

The inaugural 'Anacortes Honor' event is in the books! What an amazing event put on by an amazing team of volunteers! 20 volunteer boats and captains taking our 51 veterans for a day of bottom fishing in the San Juan Islands. The weather couldn't have been any better and the fishing was pretty darn good too. Thank you to all who helped make this successful, and we can't wait to do it again next year! 🎣🫡🇺🇸

🎉 Happy New Year from Salmon for Soldiers! 🎉

New year, new goals… and let’s be honest, we’re all hoping they involve more bent rods, fewer tangled lines, and at least one fish story no one will believe.

To all our veterans, active-duty service members, volunteers, and supporters—thank you for making this community what it is. We can’t wait to get back out on the water with you in 2026 (because fish don’t catch themselves… we checked).

We’ve got plenty of events, announcements, and fish-filled adventures coming up, so be sure to follow us here on Facebook and check out our website. You won’t want to miss what’s next—we promise it’s more exciting than watching someone try to net a fish for the first time.

-End-of-day BBQ celebration with raffles, awards and good vibes
-Ice provided for your fish—just bring your cooler and weather-ready gear!
