Lord's Neighborhood Diner The Lord's Neighborhood Diner

The Lord's Neighborhood Diner is located in the lower level of St. It is open from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM every Saturday.

Paul's Episcopal Church, 700 Callahan Drive, Bremerton, Washington 98310. All aspects of the Lord’s Neighborhood Diner operation are conducted by community volunteers. This Christian based organization opens its arms to all who are in need of the loving care from their brother and sisters in life. The Lord’s Neighborhood Diner (LND) was founded by Ms. Delsie Peebles in 1997 and she managed the day

-to-day operates until the time of her death in 2006. At that time, the Diner was open on both Saturdays and Sundays and served approximately 350 to 400 meals a week. Delsie’s son Michael, her daughter and son-in-law Sylvia and John Murphy, assumed operational control until the LND closed in 2007 due to the lack of liability insurance. In May, 2008, the LND reopened under the direction of Mike and Shannon Goodson and a Board of Directors was established to oversee operations. The LND continues to use St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish Hall to serve meals, but operates as an independent entity from the church. The Goodson’s continued to manage the LND until they resigned in 2013. The LND receives most of its food from a Northwest Harvest food distribution program. The remainder of the food and consumable products use to provide meals are purchased with funds donated by community church groups, businesses and individuals. The mission of the LND is to provide a hot, nutritious meal to those who are hungry. All persons can come to the LND and share a meal and fellowship with other members of our community. No one is turned away. In addition to the food program, the LND provides general health services in the form of showers, clothing and health service literature including contact information for community programs.

Hey Yall!

The Lord's Neighborhood Diner recently celebrated being a member of the community for over 20 years! Being involved in the community has leant itself to some great symbiotic relationships with other local non-profits. We try and support each other in whatever manner we can and Kitsap Habitat recently answered our calls for help with their unquestioned support!

We would like to invite all of our followers to consider lending their support to the local Habitat for Humanity branch, Kitsap Habitat.

'Raise the roof' is an annual support drive they host to help raise money to build homes for people in need. It's on September 22nd from 3-6pm at Red Cedar farm in Poulsbo, WA.

Enjoy an afternoon of Art as we raise funds for our Habitat families who are building their affordable homes.

Ticket Includes: Drinks, Appetizers & a Sunday Supper Price: Ticket--$85 or Table of 12--$900 Day: Sunday, September 22          Time: 3:00 pm Location: Red Cedar Farm, Poulsbo Attire:  Casual Fun

The Lord's Neighborhood Diner (LND) needs your help!

The 'Community Rewards' program is offered by Fred Meyers as their support to local community and non-profits in the Northwest. It allows you to link YOUR Fred Meyers reward phone number to a local non-profit organization, like us!

This in no way decreases or negates your own Fred Meyers rewards points or privileges, it simply allows us to benefit from Fred Meyer's generosity who donate 2.6m/yr to local non-profits via this program.

All you have to do is go to the Community Rewards website - Fredmeyer.com/communityrewards - and click on 'Re-enroll or link your Rewards Card now'. It will require you register an account if you don't already have one. The only required piece of information to add Lord's Neighborhood Diner to your rewards is our non profit code of 83164.

Thank you all!
