Our pay it forward baby of the last 2 months was charlie. He belongs to a older gentleman who had lost his wife. Rose is a friend of his and noticed the cat looked bad and immediately contacted me. I seriously thought we wouldnt be able to save him he was so thin lathargic and eyes sunken in. We took him to fairfield humane got some labs done. He was treated for thyroid and we are happy to say he gained 5oz in a month. Which is alot considering he is old as dirt cant gain muscle mass at that age and has no teeth. Of course we provided wellness can food for him. He lookes to be I swear a few years younger and more active. He looks at us so lovingly like he knows what we did for him. I wish we had the abilty to do more we will get there. But 1 by 1 we will be voices for the babies and our community. Lead with your heart. His total bill so far first visit was 200 and 160 today and has 1 more draw next month. His total will be approx 500 donations well spent back into the community and for a precious baby that's not ours but has our hearts.

Our precious Nakita got all of her vetting done today. She is offically adopted. She is all smiles about it. She was such a good girl today.

I know in my heart someone really needs this boy and he needs them. He would make a absolutely incredible therapy cat. I was trained in this I did it many years with my dog puff puff we worked in the emergency room. He went with me and visited while I drew blood. So I am aware when they put that special vibe out. If you know someone who needs this go get bigsby I promise he has the gift and thats what he is waiting for. He gives amazing hugs and purrs if your looking for a special connection he is the 1. All babies are special but I do belive its his calling and he is needed somewhere and he knows it.
