🎺 A Big Thank You to Bremen’s Band Leaders! 🎺

The Rotary Club of Bremen was honored to welcome Chuck Jindrich, Director of Bands at Bremen High School, and Emma Grace McGukin, student leader and band captain, as our guest speakers on August 7.

They gave us a fantastic preview of this year’s marching band show, “The History of Television” 📺—a creative and nostalgic journey we can’t wait to experience under the Friday night lights!

Thank you to Mr. Joe Schulman from the Georgia Department of Transportation for speaking at the Rotary Club of Bremen on Thursday, July 31, 2025!

Mr. Schulman delivered an engaging and interactive presentation on upcoming GDOT projects in Haralson County — including improvements to SR 16, SR 101, and SR 166 — and highlighted safe driving initiatives like the Drive Alert Arrive Alive and Backseat Drivers programs.

We especially appreciated the energy he brought to the room, complete with giveaways and a fun game to reinforce the importance of staying alert behind the wheel!

🏈💙 Football Fever is Here in Bremen! 💙🏈

A huge thanks to Coach Davis “Rooster” Russell and Coach Joe Bexley for speaking to the Rotary Club of Bremen on Thursday, July 24th!

Coach Russell, head coach of the Bremen High School Blue Devils, shared his deep love for his players—calling each starter by name and telling stories that showed just how much he believes in this team. 💪

We also got a special treat as Coach Joe Bexley, head coach of the Bremen Middle School Blue Devils, made a surprise visit to share his passion for his players and excitement for the season ahead. 🔥

Taylor’s powerful message about overcoming adversity, embracing inclusion, and using baseball as a tool for empowerment left a lasting impact on us all. His journey from being excluded due to autism to launching a nationwide movement is nothing short of inspiring.
