The JC Park would like to thank the parents and the young man for coming forward at our JC Park board meeting last night and apologized for his actions it took great courage to come forward and be accountable for his actions JC Park wants to let everyone know the park is to be enjoyed by everyone and would also like to remind All the Young people of our fishing derby on August 29th thanks for the quick response to our post and hope everyone enjoys our Park

The JC Park is not designed to be a racetrack for the e-bikes mopeds and scooters to race around on and are walking bridge not to be used as a ramp to jump if this continues to happen we will have no choice but to ban all e-bikes and scooters and mopeds our insurance is outrageous enough thanks for your cooperation and getting this settled

The JC Park will be putting memorial benches out at our park the JC Park organization will be supplying the concrete pads for two more benches we hope to order them by August 5th 2026 so we can receive shipment by September and put them out at the park. Pending on your inscription the bench with shipping could cost between $800 and $1,000 if anyone would be interested in purchasing a bench you can contact me at 618-401-5050 and leave a message. The benches will look like the ones out of Saint Rose Park if you would like to look at them

Again, this is a reminder that all dogs must be on a leash, if a member is out there they will ask you to put the dog on the leash. If you’re not willing to comply, you will be asked to leave the park and we strongly encourage you to use the new Breese dog park , thanks
