It’s a time to reflect, celebrate the impact of Black Americans, and recognize the strength that comes from unity. At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity and support to reach her full potential. We’re dedicated to building spaces where joy, connection, and community can grow for girls from all backgrounds. This spring, Girls on the Run Northeast Ohio was proud to partner with Queen IAM and Cavs Care to bring our confidence-building program to local girls.

Members of the Cavs Care media team stopped by a practice to experience the Girls on the Run magic firsthand. They spent time talking with participants and coaches, hearing stories of growth, connection, and confidence while seeing the program in action.

We're so grateful for partners like Queen IAM and Cavs Care who help create opportunities for girls to discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and recognize their limitless potential. 💜✨

Every two years, our national headquarters hosts Girls on the Run Summit – a conference gathering of Girls on the Run staff and leaders from across the country focused on connecting, learning, and celebrating the impact of Girls on the Run. This year, Summit will take place right here in Cleveland, OH. We are so excited!

If you have participated in Girls on the Run and are 15 years old or older, we wanted to invite you to attend a breakfast and general session on Wednesday, July 1 where you will join a table of peers who also participated!

Congratulations to Aleena, the recipient of the 2026 Emily Havranek Memorial Scholarship. Aleena has been a Junior Coach at Bath Elementary for 5 seasons. She graduates this month from Revere High School and plans to attend Auburn University this fall.
