Come out and see our troop raising the flag at the Memorial Day Service in the City of Independence Ohio Rec/Community Center.

Join us on Monday, May 25 for our annual Memorial Day Service where we honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
9 AM: Assemble on Public Square
9:30 AM: Service begins at the memorial monument
Before or after the service, make sure to visit the exhibits at Independence Historical Society.
Then, stop by Discount Drug Mart between 11 AM and 1 PM where the Independence High School Marching Band is scheduled to perform. Enjoy FREE hot dogs, chips, and pop. Donations will benefit the band!
Please Note: Due to construction near Maple Shade Cemetery, there will not be a formal procession or cemetery service this year.

Great time at the Independence Kiwanis Fishing Derby this past weekend, showing kids how to fillet and cook fish once caught.

It’s Crossover season and Troop 811 welcomed our first AOL for this year just a couple weeks back. Great to see Cub Scout finish their AOL and Crossover to the Troop to continue their Adventure!

Great time this past weekend at the Community Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Independence Kiwanis Club and hosted by the Independence School District.

Thanks for a great time of food, friends and fanfare!

A lot of conversations about what we do as Scouts, Scouts Own Maple Syrup made from the trees at Beaumont Scout Camp, and plenty of craft activities.
