Summit County Youth (theSCY) A non-profit inspiring students to live BIGGER & love BETTER... reminding youth of their amazing potential and to plot GOODness in our world.

Our 3 core programs are SCY El, Mid and Hi

At SCY El students will be encouraged to discover what it means to be a responsible and compassionate individuals. SCY El offers students what they want and what they need. Each week they have an opportunity to play fun games stressing teamwork and group effort. In addition, students engage in short discussions that focus on moral, social, and spiritual

development. The end result is that students are not spectators. Instead, they participate in what many of them consider the highlight of their week. SCY Mid creates an environment that allows middle school students to be who they are while learning and discussing topics of depth. Students in SCY Mid are able to constantly engage in activities through on-site programs and offsite adventures. In addition, weekly breakfasts before school allow students to continue the relationship with their SCY leaders. Through SCY HI we are making honest attempts to plot goodness in our world through participation with high school students. Whether at home, at school, or at SCY, we know that the way we live life affects our shared story. At SCY-Hi we believe we can live lives of purpose and meaning. Life can be good, bad, ugly, crazy, or overwhelming. We try to stop and consider how it is we are living and how we impact others. Weekly breakfast opportunities keep the students and leaders engaged in friendship and growth.
