We are in full preparation mode for the next Kairos weekend at Clemens, 11/13-11/16. Thankful for each and every one of our volunteers that serve in the roles that God has called them to – whether on the Advisory Council, team leadership, inside team or outside team. Thankful for each team member's dedication to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, hard work over many weeks, and a heart to serve. Have you thought about volunteering for a Kairos team?

Team formation is underway for Kairos #32 at Clemens Prison! Kairos volunteers come from all walks of life. They all share a desire to follow Christ’s admonition of Matthew 25:36, “I was in prison and you visited me.” If you feel God’s call to minister to the incarcerated as a part of a Kairos team, contact Andy Wheeler at [email protected] to inquire about how you can get involved and find out about qualification and training. Not all team members serve inside correctional institutions.

There are many opportunities for you to serve in this ministry! All we ask is that you have a willing heart and a spirit of obedience and you can play a crucial role in God’s ministry of Changing Hearts, Transforming Lives and Impacting the World. Preparing for a Kairos weekend at Clemens prison involves baking 1200 dozen cookies. Yes you read that correctly, that is 14,400 cookies! We are so very thankful for volunteers who help us with this expression of Christian love and God’s concern for a group of people who seldom encounter either in the course of their daily lives.
