This week, we take some extra time and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. This years lighting is dedicated to Lieutenant Aaron Cooper of the Keene Fire Department who passed away last year after a battle with occupational cancer.

If you are driving on Main Street in Brattleboro this week, maybe pause and take a minute to think about the people behind those lights, and thank them.

Every year, the NFFF sponsors the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, the official tribute to all firefighters who died in the line of duty.

-Progressive department with aggressive interior fire attack practices.

-Minimum Daily staffing of 8 personnel.

-Central Station staffs 1 Rescue Engine and 2 ambulances daily.

-Station 2 cross staffs Engine, Ladder and Ambulance.

-Fire Suppression and ALS transport/First Response,
Rope Rescue, Water Rescue, Ice Rescue and Confined Space Rescue Capabilities.

-Hazardous Materials response capabilities and Regional Hazmat Decontamination MOU with VT State Hazmat Team.

-Department support and sponsorship for AEMT and Paramedic credentialing.

-Weekly First Responder Therapy Dog Visits🐶
-L4439 Peer Support Team and First Responder specific Mental Health Clinicians available to all members.

-Allotted time daily for physical fitness and personal wellness activity.
