Membership in the VFW Auxiliary allows you to take advantage of a wide selection of insurance products to help meet your every need. The VFW Auxiliary Insurance Program is for members only, though eligibility varies by product.

You probably recognize the need for long-term care insurance. It’s not simply “nursing home” coverage, but insurance that helps assure you of continued independence as you age-without depleting the personal assets you’ve worked hard to acquire.

Long-Term Care Resources has partnered with Amwins to offer VFW Auxiliary members a comprehensive Long-Term Care Insurance Program. Members are entitled to a special discount on certain LTC plans available through this program.

To learn more about the program, call 1.800.616.8759 or visit vfwauxiliary.amwins.com/long-term-care-insurance

Yay!

The measure to expand assistance for veteran caregivers easily passed both the House and Senate, and now heads to the White House to become law.

Is a veteran you know struggling with or ?

You can help decrease the su***de rates of veterans and service members by knowing the signs and memorizing the number of the Veterans Crisis Line (Dial 988, then press 1).

Even one death by su***de is too many.

Are you an informed veterans’ advocate?

Simple steps you can take to understand legislative issues and make a difference on Capitol Hill include:
• Signing up for VFW Action Corps Weekly and answering the call to take action when the VFW sends out alerts.
• Reading and understanding the VFW Priority Goals.
• Contacting your legislators about issues impacting veterans and their families.
• Voting in every local, state and national election you are able.

Take these steps and learn more on our website, linked in bio and in the comments, under Legislative.

HELP IS NEEDED- members & friends it is almost time to create our annual cookie / candy platters for the first responders. Many hands make light work! We need folks to make (or purchase) cookies and candy to fill the 6 platters. These can be dropped off at the Post Wednesday or Thursday next week. They will be assembled Thursday night (12/19) at our monthly meeting- members we’d love to see you at our meeting. It will be an abbreviated business mtg in order to assemble the platters and have our crazy sock 🧦exchange ( bring one pair of wrapped socks). Lots fun hope to see you there 🍪🍬🎄🎅🏽⛄️
