Hey BUHS Class of 1977!!

We are nearing our 50th Reunion in 2027! YIKES! How did that happen?

The date for our 50th reunion date is TBD but will very likely NOT be the traditional “Alumni Weekend”. The Alumni Association no longer exists, and thus it Is up to classes to determine when they hold their own reunions. Recent reunions aligned with Homecoming Weekend in the Fall, allowing for alums to be introduced at the football, field hockey and soccer games, high school tours, etc. More on this later. We are in need of a larger venue for the Saturday night gathering, if you have any ideas.

In the meantime, we also need help gathering contact information for “lost” classmates. We have no info on the following classmates – it’s a long list! If you have contact info for someone here, send me a message, or ask them to reach out (my email is [email protected]). I will respect those who do not wish to be contacted.

We have lost another classmate. Sadly Tim Alexander passed away on November 15th.

Local class of 77 members and friends. Classmate Bill Harlow’s son Todd is undergoing cancer treatment. Todd is following in his grandfather and father’s footsteps by running Harlow’s Sugar House. For anyone who is able to support him, there is a fundraising event planned.

A wonderful 45th Reunion weekend. Beginning Friday at the Whetstone, Saturday afternoon river cruise provided by Eric Annis and the reunion dinner at the beautiful riverside home of Roxane Phillips LaCroix who went way above and beyond to host. Many thanks to all who made this happen. I neglected to take many photos so thanks to Candace Garland and Tim Alexander who were so much more on the ball than I was.

Class of 77, Brad Fenn has been busy planning a weekend of activities for our 45th reunion.

Friday June 17th we are looking to get together at the Whetstone Brewery for drinks.

Note there is a change in date and time for hike!! Saturday June 18th at 10 am those interested will meet for a Mt. Wantastiquet hike. Meet behind Georges Field Mall, Georges Field Road.

Also Saturday we will have several activities at the riverside property of Roxane Phillips Lacroix, 182 Mountain Road, West Chesterfield NH. From 1-3 and again from 3-5 Eric Annis will provide Steamboat rides. Participants will need to register ( info on RSVP for boat rides will come soon.)

Also at Roxane's from 2-6 you are welcome to bring your kayak or canoe. There is kayak launch, you can drop the canoe/kayak just before the house and park in the designated parking area beyond the house.

4-6 PM at Roxane’s we will be hosting a wine tasting with Summit Winery.

6-10 is the Reunion dinner. We will be charging $20 per person which will cover the food to be grilled ( hot dogs, burgers, veggy burgers and chicken) . Those who are local are asked to provide a side dish of some type, pasta salad, green salad etc
RSVP is needed for the dinner, as we will need to shop for meats. This is a BYOB event, but we kindly request that no glass bottles be used.

Sunday June 19th we will gather for breakfast at 9:00 at Ramuntos, Putney Road.
Change— the hike planned originally for Sunday has been moved to Saturday at 10.

We have asked the class of 76 to join us as they had to cancel their 45th due to COVID. We sincerely look forward to seeing you!
