As a municipal leader, how can you help your community have conversations that find common ground, build unity, and provide a clear(er) direction forward for decision makers?

On Thursday June 11 from 1-4, BDCC’s Southern Vermont Economy Project will host a half-day workshop for municipal leaders at the Townshend Town Hall.

Topics include:
Best practices for community engagement (beyond the required public meetings)
Discussion: what do good community conversations look like?
Examples from local communities
Breakouts to discuss your community’s challenges (and successes!)

With presentations from experts and local leaders, this session will provide strategies, resources, and peer connections for local leaders.

Open to all current town leaders (elected and appointed board members) and municipal staff.
