This past year, the Horicon Fire Department Auxiliary was restructured, and many new faces joined the team. After a great deal of discussion and consideration, we have decided that doing things just because they have always been done does not always work, and if those traditions are going to cause too much stress or effort for our very small number of people, it needs to be put on the back burner. That said, we have decided not to hold a memorial tree lighting this year. We will have a Christmas tree out front of our station in memory of all of our lost loved ones. If you would like to have a specific dedication to a loved one, the Chestertown Rotary will hold a tree lighting on December 2nd from 5:30-7:30 where you can purchase a wooden ornament with your loved one’s name(s) for $2.

We appreciate the continued support from the community and hope everyone has a magical and blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas season!
