At 1239 hrs today, Engine 3, Truck 2, Tender 3 and Battalion 3 responded to a mutual aid request from Southern Stone County Fire Protection District for a residential structure fire.

Branson Fire crews assisted with rescuing multiple dogs from the residence, and chasing multiple areas of fire in void spaces throughout the structure. Water supply issues, high ambient air temperatures and hoarding conditions further complicated the incident.
The incident eventually went to a 4th Alarm response bringing units from Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, Branson Fire Rescue, Western Taney County Fire Department, Central Crossing Fire Department, and Highlandville Fire Department.

Branson Companies operated on scene for nearly 5 hours before being released by Command.

We are grateful for our neighboring Fire Departments and glad we are able to assist when called upon!

Today, August 15th at 1137, Engine 1 and Truck 2 and Battalion 1 in conjunction with local area law enforcement and Taney County Ambulance District responded to a multi vehicle accident near the Highway 65 northbound on-ramp and Bee Creek Road. Crews arrived on scene and found multiple vehicles with heavy damage from a high speed vehicle accident. Fire crews and EMS worked to triage and extricate multiple patients from the damaged vehicles. The intersection was shut down for an extended period of time while crews helped coordinate patient care, vehicle removal, and roadway cleanup. Multiple individuals were transported by ambulance to trauma centers. Crews operated on scene for approximately 1 hour.

At 1314 hours on August 7, 2026, Truck 2 and Engine 1 responded to a reported vehicle over an embankment.

On arrival, Companies found an SUV perched precariously on a slope and on the edge of an 8 foot tall retaining wall. The driver was still in the vehicle, but unable to get out.

Fire crews used ground ladders to more easily move between the levels, and placed stabilizing struts under the vehicle before entering the vehicle to assist the driver out.

The driver was treated by Branson Fire crews and Taney County Ambulance paramedics, then transported to the hospital. Branson Police investigated the accident.

No other injuries were reported. Companies operated on scene for nearly an hour.

At 1538 hours on August 7, 2026, Truck 2, Engine 1, Chief 3 and Chief 5 responded to a reported vehicle into a building.

On arrival, Companies found a full-size pickup with trailer into the side of a residence. The driver had suffered a medical emergency and left the roadway, striking the house.

The driver was treated by Branson Fire crews and Taney County Ambulance paramedics, then transported to the hospital. Branson Police investigated the accident.

Thankfully, no one in the residence was hurt and the house was still habitable.

Companies operated on scene for nearly an hour.

Now that the AK has a new owner we are starting to sell tickets for the Bergara that will draw on November 2nd. If you didn't win with your previous tickets, they are recycled as a second chance on this one.

Stand with firefighters. Vote NO on Amendments 4 & 5.

Amendment 4 would make it substantially harder for voters to amend the state constitution through the initiative process.

Amendment 5 would begin phasing out Missouri's individual income tax while opening the door to taxes on more of the goods and services people use every day.

Both amendments would give state lawmakers greater control while leaving ordinary Missourians with fewer protections.

Stand with firefighters. Vote NO on Amendments 4 & 5.

Truck 2 A shift took advantage of the cloudy break from the sun today to work on some vertical ventilation skills.

On a working fire scene, a lot happens, including removal of toxic and super heated smoke from the building. Vertical ventilation is just one of many skills we use on building fires to make the outcome as safe and effective as possible for all involved.
