Glory Awakening is all about Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the gl Scott’s life always revolved around church. Mrs.
Glory Awakening Ministries, Maps2destiny
Dr. Scott Garner is the founder, CEO, and president of the ministry. He was reared in Ft Worth, Texas by godly parents who faithfully served in church. He knew he was called to the full-time ministry by the age of 16. Scott was ordained in November 1975. He graduated from Texas A & M University-Commerce with the Business and Sociology Degree, and the South
western Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity Degree. He holds two Doctorate in Scriptural Psychology with an emphasis in Research and Development, and a Ph.D. in Scriptural Psychology from Faith Bible College. He is board certified in counseling, and a Doctoral Diplomat with The American Society of Christian Therapists. He is the founder, CEO, and president of Glory Awakening, Ministries, and Maps 2 Destiny. These ministries are all about Habakkuk 2:14 (NKJV)14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Every person needs to experience the tangible manifested presence of God, and have the opportunity to receive Him as their own personal Lord and Savior. Dr. Garner has written a tool called Maps2destiny that helps equip Christians to fulfill their destinies by helping them discover who they were “created to be.” It helps Christians know who they are in Christ, get free from their past/flesh, walk in the Spirit, and thus live out the fulfilled, abundant, fruitful life that is God's destiny for them. Gloria Garner is the vice-president and secretary/treasurer of the ministries. She holds a Bachelors of Psychology from Bethel College, a Masters of Christian Counseling from Faith Bible College, and one year from River Bible Institute. Garner has an emphasis in evangelism as well as teaching Christians to draw close to God in intimate fellowship. Gloria has a powerful testimony after facing a life threatening brain tumor. She titles her testimony: “Don’t just be a ‘survivor’! Live through. Pray through. Overcome!” Gloria's best known for Power Evangelism Training. She gained practical experience on the streets of cities across America on The Great Awakening Tour with Revival Ministries Int'l (see: revival.com) from July 1999 – September 2013 (14 years 3 months). They would go into cities working with the local churches to train them with the tools that have proven to be extremely effective for winning the lost. Evening revival meetings would be held where people would get filled with the fire of God and zeal to reach the lost. Then in the mornings they would have classes training them on Power Evangelism. They would take teams out and use a powerful soul winning tool called "The Soul Winning Script" to lead people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ one-on-one: on the streets, door-to-door, in parking lots of busy shopping establishments, in gas stations, at bus stops, in nursing homes, in hospitals, in jails... anywhere! Once people have experienced how awesome it is to lead people to the Lord, they are encouraged to continue to witness as a life-style, because people are hungry and ready! The cry of Gloria's heart is: Truly the harvest is ripe! We must ALL be laborers bringing in the precious souls!!! In 1982 the original non-profit organization was named, Scott Garner Discipleship Association. Scott’s heart has always been to see every Christian grow strong in their faith, and relationship with Christ. The heart beat and mission of the ministry is to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:11-13) by sharing the “HOW TO’S” of living the victorious Christian life. One emphasis is actually teaching “HOW TO” crucify the flesh, be healed and set free from strongholds and negative patterns, in order to consistently walk in the Spirit. The ministry goal is multifunctional because, in addition to helping Christians find their fulfillment in their individual destinies, we are also a resource to help them establish their calling and ministry, to win the lost, and to see God’s glory and power cover the earth. Our ministry is a unique resource to release the power and anointing of God to move individuals into their calling and destiny. We are ‘revival coaches’ to equip the church to ‘win in life’. Maps2destiny or M.A.P.S. (Ministry Anointing Plan and Strategy) is a tool that was developed to give each individual a map to help accomplish his or her unique God ordained mission in life. The Lord has progressively given Dr. Garner incredible revelation as he worked with ministries and individuals. He began to record this wisdom as he watched it change people’s lives. It has been in the works since 1975, and it was first copyrighted in 1994. It has been used for church-wide seminars/revivals, leadership training, individual, marriage/pre-marriage, or family counseling, training for evangelism, discipleship, and even staffing large corporations. Over the years as the M.A.P.S. wisdom was diligently applied either individually or as a ministry, it is awe inspiring to hear the testimonies of total transformation, freedom, fruitfulness, fulfillment, and victory. Maps2destiny is a powerful tool that Scott wrote which includes a fascinating, extremely accurate personality profile. It produces charts that gives you a Scriptural and practical GPS to know how to navigate so you get you to your destiny as well as leave the hurts, wounds, and detours from your past. Maps2destiny is all about getting people walking in the Spirit, living free from the flesh, winning souls as a lifestyle, and active in their local churches and ministries according to their motivational spiritual gifts, which has been a great blessing to ministries who got involved with our ministries.

I hear ministers trying to reason with people about the truth of God's word. But many times there must be some kind of blinder keeping people from seeing, understanding or receiving. We can reason with them until we are blue in the face. But they personally need to ask the Lord to remove the blinders. and to help them see and understand. Here are the prayers that the Lord showed me to pray to finally be able to enter into living the fullness of all that God has for each one of us:
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2 Corinthians 3:14-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
1. Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand! Ask Him to prepare your heart to be good ground to receive His word!
Matthew 13:13-23 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:
‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.’
16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
The Parable of the Sower Explained
18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
2. Repent and Ask the Lord to: Create in me a clean heart!
Psalm 51:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
3. Ask the Lord to take out the stony heart and put in a heart of flesh!
Ezekiel 11:19-21 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD.
4. Ask the Lord to cause you to understand the fear of the Lord.
Proverbs 1:7 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 9:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 3:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
5. Ask the Lord to give you a hunger and thirst for His Wisdom!
Proverbs 3:13-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand,
In her left hand riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
And happy are all who retain her.
6. Ask the Lord to give you an obedient heart to His Word and His Voice!
Deuteronomy 28 New King James Version (NKJV)
Blessings on Obedience
28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: (See the entire chapter)
Curses on Disobedience
15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: (See the entire chapter)
You are about to learn the Key to Breakthrough in the area of finances that will change your life forever! Are you ready for everything to change? Are you ready to do whatever it takes? I’m going to get right to the point. The life altering KEY is when giving becomes a part of your nature, and it shows in everything you do. THEN you will be able to claim this scripture as your own as you boldly say:
2 Corinthians 9:6-11 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, but WHEN I SOW GENEROUSLY [that blessings may come to someone] I WILL REAP GENEROUSLY AND WITH BLESSINGS.
7 I WILL [GIVE] as I have made up my own mind and purposed in my heart, NOT reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, FOR GOD LOVES (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) A CHEERFUL (JOYOUS, “PROMPT TO DO IT”) GIVER [WHOSE HEART IS IN HIS GIVING].
8 And GOD IS ABLE To Make ALL GRACE (EVERY FAVOR AND EARTHLY BLESSING) COME TO ME In Abundance, So That I May Always And Under All Circumstances And Whatever The Need Be Self-Sufficient [Possessing Enough To Require No Aid Or Support And Furnished IN ABUNDANCE FOR EVERY GOOD WORK AND CHARITABLE DONATION].
9 As it is written, I [the benevolent person] scatter abroad; I give to the poor; my deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!
10 AND [GOD] WHO PROVIDES SEED FOR THE SOWER AND BREAD FOR EATING WILL ALSO PROVIDE AND MULTIPLY MY [RESOURCES FOR] SOWING and increase the fruits of my righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].
11 Thus I will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that I can be generous, and [my generosity as it is] administered by my church will bring forth thanksgiving to God.
Many Christians wonder why they are constantly in lack and it seems like everything they get involved in is cursed? Let me explain to you why that is the case and what the solution is all in one scripture!
Malachi 3:6-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change;
therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
7 Yet from the days of your fathers
you have gone away from My ordinances
and have not kept them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,”
Says the LORD of hosts.
“But you said,
‘In what way shall we return?’
Do Not Rob God
8 “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.
9 You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the LORD of hosts;
12 “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the LORD of hosts.
If you are NOT tithing to a ministry that you are covenanted with and covered by, you have opened the door wide open to being cursed!
Haggai 1:3-11 3 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways!
6 “ You have sown much, and bring in little;
You eat, but do not have enough;
You drink, but you are not filled with drink;
You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm;
And he who earns wages,
Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”
7 Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the LORD. 9 “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. 10 Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. 11 For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
Are you ready for a turn-around in your finances? Are you ready to do whatever it takes? When you repent and seek God in this area of your life. He will show you a safe place filled with His manifested presence where you can enter into covenant relationship and be covered and accountable. It is there that you must be obedient in the tithes and offerings (thanking God and giving Him glory for everything He has provided). Even ministries need to tithe into the kingdom of God somewhere other than their own ministry (Numbers 18:25-32).
Deuteronomy 12:5-9 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 “But you shall seek the place where the LORD your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His dwelling place; and there you shall go. 6 There you shall take your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, your vowed offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 And there you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
The word is clear that the tithe is to be brought into the House of God, and then offerings above and beyond the tithe can go elsewhere. Your tithe is One tenth of your gross income. It is holy. It is God's! You take it off the top, BEFORE you do anything else with the money. If you want the rest of that money to be stretched supernaturally and blessed, you will give God what is His first. The tithe is not what's left over after I've paid my bills. The tithe is not a crumpled up dollar thrown in the offering bucket if someone mentions a need. The tithe is not random offerings given if the Lord speaks to give somewhere.
Leviticus 27:30 New King James Version (NKJV)
30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’s. It is holy to the LORD.
Nehemiah 10:38-39 New King James Version (NKJV)
38 And the priest, the descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.
39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the grain, of the new wine and the oil, to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are, where the priests who minister and the gatekeepers and the singers are; and we will not neglect the house of our God.
When there is revival in the land people rejoice for the opportunity to give into the ministry to see the work of the Lord going forth changing their nation. But that is the attitude we are always to have when it comes to the tithe. We bring it in thanksgiving for what God has provided for us materially, but also for the spiritual food we are receiving from the men and women of God we are covenanted with, and we want to be a part as that ministry is impacting our community causing people to trust in God.
Nehemiah 12:43-45 New King James Version (NKJV)
43 Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard afar off.
44 And at the same time some were appointed over the rooms of the storehouse for the offerings, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them from the fields of the cities the portions specified by the Law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests and Levites who ministered. 45 Both the singers and the gatekeepers kept the charge of their God and the charge of the purification, according to the command of David and Solomon his son.
What a privilege it is to be a part of making it possible for men of God to do the ministry full-time. Support the preaching of the gospel financially!
1 Corinthians 9:4-14 Do we have no right to eat and drink? 5 Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? 6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working? 7 Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock?
8 Do I say these things as a mere man? Or does not the law say the same also? 9 For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.”[a] Is it oxen God is concerned about? 10 Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope. 11 If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? 12 If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more?...
13 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar? 14 should live from the Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
People love to quote Philippians 4:19 New King James Version (NKJV) 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. But they don't realize that Paul was saying that to people as a result of the offering they had given to support his ministry!
Philippians 4:15-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
It is when you tithe to the House of God faithfully AND give offerings (to the church, to the poor, and wherever God prompts you to give as a life style) that God promises to rebuke the devourer on your behalf and bring abundant blessings!
Matthew 25:32-46 King James Version (KJV)
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Proverbs 19:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD,
and He will pay back what he has given.
Isaiah 58:6-12 King James Version (KJV)
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.
9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:
11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Luke 6:38 New King James Version (NKJV)
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Luke 15:1-7 New King James Version
The Parable of the Lost Sheep
15 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:
4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine [b]just persons who need no repentance.
I have a couple of really quick, but very important questions to ask you.
Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life?
If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to heaven?
Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible says. It says “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The Bible also says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” And you’re a “whosoever” right? Of course you are; we all are.
I’m going to say a quick prayer for you:
Lord, I ask You to bless each person who reads this with a long and healthy life. Jesus, I ask You to wrap Your loving arms around them right now. Make Yourself so real to them. Do a quick work in their heart. If they have never received You as their Lord and Savior, I pray that they do so right now.
If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, pray this with all of your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that God raised You from the dead so I can have eternal life. Come and be my personal Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, the peace of God, and the joy of the Lord. Give me a hunger for the things of God, a passion to reach the lost, and boldness to share the good news of Jesus with others. I’m saved. I’m born again. I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart. Amen Thank You Jesus!
When you asked Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you, He heard you and did so! All of your sins are now forgiven! Always remember to run to God and not from God because He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. You can write: ”I got saved!” on your calendar today!
Be sure to share this with your family and friends so they can get saved too, because you don't want to go to heaven without them!

Romans 6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
Dead to Sin, Alive to God
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be [a]done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been [b]freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, [c]reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as [d]instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were [e]delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness [f]for holiness.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit [g]to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [h]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Freed from the Law
7 Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law [i]has dominion over a man as long as he lives? 2 For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. 4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. 6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
Sin’s Advantage in the Law
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” 8 But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. 9 I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. 12 Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
Law Cannot Save from Sin
13 Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Free from Indwelling Sin
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[j] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be [k]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the [l]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [m]through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Sonship Through the Spirit
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bo***ge again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba,[n] Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
From Suffering to Glory
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bo***ge of [o]corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession [p]for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
God’s Everlasting Love
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
