Shakespeare For Schools is thrilled to be bringing this classic tragedy to life on stage for your students! Our cast and production team of theater professionals are rehearsing now to turn this time-honored story into an exciting two hour experience for student audiences ages 13 and up.
Here's what you can expect from this experience:
A 90 minute cut of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet performed live at the Historic Owen Theater in Downtown Branson, directed by Josh Boulden, featuring professional performances, live original music, and stage combat!
A brief talk-back with the cast and production team directly following the performance, giving students the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the play, Shakespeare, or the theater industry.
Curated educational study guides that can be paired along with your curriculum to prepare students for seeing the performance, covering subjects such as Theater Etiquette, How To Understand Shakespeare, and specifics on Romeo and Juliet.
If you express interest, members of our team would also be available to come to your school or classroom and give an hour long workshop on what we do at Shakespeare For Schools!
