Parade Parking Reminder for Sunday, June 14th

If you are planning to attend a performance at the Historic Owen Theatre on Sunday, June 14th, please be aware that the 4pm Downtown Branson Parade will impact traffic and parking in the downtown area.

We encourage all patrons to arrive early and allow extra time for travel, parking, and access to the theatre. Some streets may be temporarily closed or have restricted access before, during and after the parade.

The Historic Owen Theatre remains open for all scheduled performances, and we look forward to welcoming you. Planning ahead will help ensure a smooth and enjoyable theatre experience.

⭐️ Looking for a FREE EVENT that helps support the local arts!??

🎭 Join us at TAPS on Downing Street on Sunday June 14th at 6:00PM for “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare!

⭐️ The actors return for one more performance of Shakespeare’s beloved battle of the sexes romantic comedy. After the huge success of the first run we knew this show needed a reprise! Enjoy a free 90 min live performance over a cold pint under the setting sun in Hollister’s very own beer garden at Taps pour house. This event is helping raise funds for the Branson Regional Arts Council Shakespeare for Schools educational fall production of “The Tragedy Romeo and Juliet.” We can’t wait to see you there!

The Branson Regional Arts Council is proud to present two outstanding productions from our Summer Theatre Institute this weekend: Alice in Wonderland Jr. and High School Musical 2!

Join us at the Historic Owen Theatre as our young performers bring these stories to the stage. We invite families, friends, and community members to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students by attending one, or both, of these exciting productions.

Parent Meeting Reminder for Annie Jr. Summer Theatre Institute

We look forward to seeing all families at our upcoming parent meeting:

📅 Date: Monday, June 8th
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Historic Owen Theatre

Parent information packets and youth scripts will be distributed at this time.

Before registering, please carefully review your schedule. Due to the intensive nature of this institute, attendance at all rehearsals and all performances is required.

Just a reminder that students enrolled in the Annie Jr. Summer Theatre Institute will meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day.

Once your child is registered, please request to join our private Facebook group: BRAC’s Annie Jr. 2026 Production Group. All important communications, rehearsal videos, schedule updates, and any changes will be posted there. If you do not use Facebook, please let us know so we can make alternate arrangements to keep you informed.

We are excited to begin Annie Jr. and we look forward to seeing everyone on Monday evening!

🐇 Alice in Wonderland JR:
Follows young Alice as she tumbles down the rabbit hole into a topsy‑turvy world filled with curious creatures, silly rules, and nonstop surprises. As she meets unforgettable characters like the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts, Alice learns the importance of confidence, imagination, and finding her own voice. Through her wild adventure, Alice discovers that growing up doesn’t mean losing who you are.
