Invasive Plant Removal Work Party Alert!!
The Branford Environment / Conservation Commission will be hosting a work party this Saturday morning from 9am to 12pm at The Branford Early Learning Center (16 Birch Rd) removing invasive species plants and preparing the area for native plants.
This is our first volunteer effort of this 2021 season, so if you are not able to participate this Saturday we will be organizing every Saturday or Sunday weather permitting.
Wear long sleeves, and bring heavy duty gardening gloves and any w**d tackling tools you have. We are not using pesticides!
Other items you might want to bring - a water bottle and a hat with a brim. As of this writing we are expecting sunny weather.
Please observe /maintain social distancing and bring a mask, wear as needed.
