Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers partners with local Law Enforcement Agencies, the Community and the Media in Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Copiah, Simpson, Warren, Scott, Smith and Leake Counties in an effort to catch criminals and make information available to the public on crime prevention and safety tips. Crime Stopper Programs are organized as a "Not for Profit Organization" (Charity). A communi

ty based board of directors comprised of citizens, business owners, actively employed and or retired individuals, provides direction as to the financial and promotional activities of the program. . Crimestoppers enables persons with information pertaining to a crime to report it to law enforcement anonymously through Crimestoppers. If a tipster's information leads to the arrest of a suspect, law enforcement will notify Crimestoppers of the tip number that lead to the arrest. The board meets on a monthly basis which at that time approves a reward, up to $2500.00, which will be paid to the tip number submitted by law enforcement that lead to the arrest. The reward is distributed in a discreet and private manner to the tipster. The board nor law enforcement know the identity of the tipster. When reporting information via the call in number, the text number or a web tip, the tipster will be assigned a tip number. Retain this number for your records. Contact Central Mississippi Crimestoppers at 769-798-4636 a month after submitting the tip to learn if that tip was submitted for a reward. If so, instructions will be provided for collection of the reward.

Davis is wanted for Shooting into a Dwelling and Attempted Burglary of a Dwelling House. She is described as a white female, 40 years of age, approximately 5'8 and 160 lbs.

The Ridgeland Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance to identify suspect(s) involved in a string of backyardstorage shed burglaries that occurred in the months of June, July and August this summer. Several items including power tools, lawn care equipment, and other miscellaneous items have been stolen from storage sheds within the city of Ridgeland. These burglaries have occurred in the Greenbrook subdivision off South Wheatley Street.

The Leake County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating Khinyin "Chavez" Maurice Glenn, who has been missing since April 2021.

On April 25, 2021, Arletha Williams reported her son, Khinyin "Chavez" Maurice Glenn, missing to the Leake County Sheriff's Office. Ms. Williams stated that she had dropped Chavez off at a relative's residence on Smith Road in Leake County on Friday, April 23, 2021. That was the last time she personally saw or spoke with him.
According to Ms. Williams, her daughter later told her that Chavez returned home sometime that same night but left again at approximately10:00 p.m., saying he was going for a walk. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Ms. Williams told investigators that she contacted numerous friends, relatives, and members of the community in an effort to locate her son, but no one reported seeing him or knowing where he might be. She also advised investigators that it was highly unusual for Chavez to leave without contacting his family. According to his mother, he takes medication for a medical condition that causes him to pace, making his disappearance even more concerning.
At the time of his disappearance, Chavez Glenn was 19 years old. He was described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with a chocolate complexion. Distinguishing features include a tattoo of Heaven's Gate and doveson his left arm. Family members also stated that he often wore honey-brown contact lenses. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public’s help in the death of Brian Jermaine Fleming. On Friday, April 26, 2019, at approximately 17:55 hours, Brian Jermaine Fleming, a black male was found deceased from fatal gunshot wounds. The victim was lying in the middle of Truitt Road, between Rocky Hill Road and Fowler Road.

On 5/25/26, an unidentified suspect(s) took possession of a victim’s bank debit card through false pretense. These photos are of an unidentified suspect using the victim’s card to withdraw money from the victim’s bank account. The withdrawal took place in Byram, MS around Terry Rd and Siwell Rd.

The Ridgeland Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following individuals:

Quinton Alexander Cooper, 34
Lawrence Avery McElroy, 43

These individuals are currently wanted by the Ridgeland Police Department on Contempt of Court warrants. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Henry, Cooper, or McElroy is urged to contact the Ridgeland Police Department at (601) 856-2121.

UPDATE (1:20 a.m. on June 9th): Cortavious and Cortavion have been located and arrested with no further incident.

🚨🚨BLUE ALERT: 18-year-old Cortavious Lawayne Hobbs and 19-year-old Cortavion Dewayne Hobbs are wanted in connection to an officer-involved shooting that occurred June 8th, 2026 at approximately 3:38 p.m. in Mount Olive, Mississippi.

Both are believed to be armed and dangerous and could be in the area of the 200 block of South Bluff Street, Mount Olive, Covington County Mississippi.

Please call 911 immediately if you see either Hobbs or if you observe any suspicious activity.

Cortavious Lawayne Hobbs is described as a black male, wearing a black hoodie, 18 years old, 5 feet and 6 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Cortavion Dewayne Hobbs is described as a black male, wearing a camouflage hoodie, 19 years old, 5 feet and 6 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
