Founded in 1903 as one of New England's first camp's for boys, Camp Wachusett offers both land and water activities that provide a rich and varied program in a gorgeous setting in Vermont. Activities generate a spirit of fun, excitement and adventure while striving to realize the broader purpose of personal and social growth for each camper. ce, self-confidence and being part of a group. Age and skill appropriate overnight hiking and canoeing trips teach appreciation for the environment and provide opportunities to be courageous in overcoming new challenges in beautiful surroundings. We utilize our small environment to maximize the opportunity to individually "care" for each boy and to devote the necessary time and energy to the welfare that each boy deserves. Our camp community is truly a place of friendship that many refer to as a very special home away from home.
