Brandon History Center

Brandon History Center We are located in the Historic Brandon Auditorium which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Brandon Auditorium was designed by Minneapolis architect F. Boes Pfeifer and constructed in 1935-36 by local workers hired under the auspices of the Works Progress Administration ( W.P.A.)

Gardonville Telephone Company located at approximately 205 Central Ave in Brandon, about where the present Car Wash is located. Central Office dated about 1923 and the Office Front in the early 1940s. Remember the Gardonville Annual Meeting and Pork Shop Dinner on Thursday April 30th.

Gene's Log Cabin ( Cafe and Auto Repair),Brandon MN.This unique little cafe and auto shop was run by many different owners. Here is a list of a few that we know of or can remember. See if you can add to the list. Gene Hagedorn, Phillip Brennon, Carole and Myron Severson, George and Ann Lund, Joyce and Dan Rusch, Kaufmans, Jim Korkowski ran the auto service shop and Gail Wagner ran the cafe. The Log Cabin was located SW of the intersection of # 7 and County Rd # 82( formerly US 52). This is the location where J.B. Tractors is now located.
