Wounded Warriors of Mississippi

Wounded Warriors of Mississippi Mississippi's Wounded Warriors are all around us every day. You might not see a veterans injuries since not all of them are visible.

Our passion is to serve those who have served by providing aid mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually. Wounded Warriors of Mississippi's mission is to help veterans with the war within themselves to reconnect with society. This battle can be as difficult as the battlefield itself. We help them mentally by organizing events where they can meet fellow warriors that share their daily stru

ggles. We help them physically by assisting with daily tasks that have become too difficult to complete. We help them financially when they are struggling to pay a utility bill, get medications or other daily needs, and we help them spiritually because without God, this organization would not be what it is today and what it is going to grow to be. Wounded Warriors of Mississippi always welcomes volunteers to help with our events, as well as monetary donations so we can continue to provide for the men and women who fought and gave the best part of their lives for us.

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.

Whether it's spending time outdoors, connecting with friends, attending counseling, or simply taking time to recharge, every positive step matters.

Military Family Appreciation

Military service impacts entire families, not just the individual wearing the uniform.

Today we recognize the spouses, parents, children, and loved ones who support our service members and veterans through every challenge and triumph.

Thank you for your sacrifices.

What an incredible day of fellowship, fun, and memory-making at The Barns at Ferguson Farms!
This past Saturday, Wounded Warriors of Mississippi was honored to join veterans, military families, and children from Baptist Children's Village for a day filled with fishing, hayrides, horseshoes, co****le, a petting zoo, balloon creations, face painting, fellowship, and delicious Southern hospitality.
The excitement reached new heights when our surprise guest arrived—a medical helicopter that landed on-site and gave the children and families an opportunity to explore the aircraft, meet the crew, and experience something many will never forget.
We may have even had a Sasquatch sighting... but we'll let the photos tell that story! 😉
A very special thank you goes to Sharon Ferguson, owner of Ferguson Farms, whose generosity and hospitality made this event possible. Sharon graciously provided overnight accommodations for our veterans and their families, welcomed everyone with thoughtful gift baskets, and went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt appreciated and cared for. Her servant's heart was evident in every detail of the day.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful Southern breakfast and lunch buffet while spending quality time together, creating new friendships and strengthening existing bonds. One of the most meaningful moments of the day came as everyone gathered to leave their thumbprint on a beautiful tree artwork—a lasting reminder of the lives touched and memories shared.
At Wounded Warriors of Mississippi, we believe healing, hope, and camaraderie are often found in moments like these. Watching veterans, families, and children laugh together, catch fish, pet animals, explore a helicopter, and simply enjoy being together reminded us why these events matter so much.
Thank you to Sharon Ferguson, Ferguson Farms, our volunteers, first responders, helicopter crew, Baptist Children's Village, and everyone who helped make this day such a success.
Together, we are building a stronger veteran community—one memory at a time.
🇺🇸 Veterans helping veterans. Families supporting families. Building camaraderie one event at a time. 🇺🇸

Motivation Monday

Strength isn't measured by never falling. It's measured by getting back up each time life knocks you down.
