Marble Valley Players

Marble Valley Players Marble Valley Players is Vermonts oldest continuing community theatre group, having been founded around the beginning of the 20th century in Proctor, Vermont.

It was then known as the Community Players. In the 1920s the group took the name Proctor Players Club and for a considerable length of time was responsible for much of the comedy, drama, and childrens theatre that was seen in the Rutland area. In the early 1970s the group became Marble Valley Players to better reflect its county-wide membership.
