Tomorrow is a busy and exciting day at The Mustard Seed!

🍞 🌿 Harper’s Happy Kitchen will be at our Ridgeland Gift Shop from 10–2, selling homemade sourdough bread and fresh pesto as part of our Little Seeds, Big Dreams Youth Entrepreneurs Market.

🛍️👔We’ll also have a Mustard Seed Pop-Up Shop at The Rogue in Jackson from 11–3.

Both our Ridgeland and Flowood Gift Shops will be open during their normal business hours.

We hope you’ll stop by and see us at one… or maybe even all… of these events! 😉

Help us wish Kate a Happy Birthday!

Kate has one of the sweetest, most easy-going personalities on The Mustard Seed campus. However, don’t let her calm nature fool you, because Kate also loves to watch wrestling on TV, especially when John Cena is in the ring, and never misses a chance to rock out to a good Queen or Aerosmith song. In her spare time, you can find Kate playing a game of bowling on the Wii or watching an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants with her dad. Kate is a truly kind and gentle soul, and we are so thankful to have her in the Day Program at The Mustard Seed.

We're excited to introduce the very first young entrepreneurs participating in our Little Seeds, Big Dreams Young Entrepreneurs Market at The Mustard Seed!

This brother-and-sister duo is spending their summer pursuing a sweet dream by selling homemade cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and other delicious treats. We are excited to host them at our Flowood Gift Shop this Saturday.

Jackson and Olivia shared, "We have a brother in Heaven named Henry. Henry had Down syndrome, and he inspired us to love all people. We love The Mustard Seed."

Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most.

When Seedster Daniel missed class because of an appointment, Day Program Instructor Daniel didn't just hand him the notes and move on. He sat down with him and walked through the entire lesson, videos and all, making sure he didn't miss a thing.

Moments like this remind us that kindness isn't always grand, it often looks like taking extra time for someone else.

We're excited to introduce Little Seeds, Big Dreams: Young Entrepreneurs Market at The Mustard Seed!

Do you know a creative kid age 14 or under with a big idea? This summer, we're opening our gift shops to young entrepreneurs and giving them a chance to showcase their talents, sell their products, and gain real-world business experience.

Whether they create artwork, jewelry, baked goods, stickers, keychains, bath products, 3-D printed items, or something uniquely their own, we'd love to help them share their creativity with our community.

At The Mustard Seed, we know the power of creativity and what it can do for a person's confidence, growth, and sense of accomplishment. We're excited to help create that opportunity for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
