Because of the continuous support and sponsorship from The Mosaic Company we have finished our 14th year as a Food Program. With the invaluable help of amazing Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon volunteers and members of the community and our staff, we distributed 186,754.48 pounds of food through weekly food pantries and our Project Smile Club programs.

6,152 individuals were supported.

Thank you to everyone who made this year possible. We look forward to returning in August 2026 for our 15th year!

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon was honored to welcome two outstanding guest speakers this past week from Forgotten Angels and ECHO.

Forgotten Angels is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth who have aged out of the foster care system and those considered at risk. ECHO helps bridge the gap between crisis and stability by providing emergency food and clothing, job coaching, educational workshops, financial counseling, and other essential services.

Inspired by their missions? We invite anyone with a passion for serving children and families in the Greater Brandon area to join us! The Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 8:00 a.m. at Brandon Christian Church, 910 Bryan Road, Brandon, FL 33511.

If you have a heart for service, you’ve found your new home. Come see how we’re making a difference for the terrific kids and families of the Greater Brandon community—one project, one child, and one act of kindness at a time. 💙💛

What better way to kick off the weekend than with great friends, a great mission, and time in the great outdoors?

Look no further than the Seffner Mango Library Storybook Walk, where we, as Kiwanis members, help bring stories to life for families throughout our community. Grab the kids, bring the dog, invite your friends, and enjoy a story presented in both English and Spanish as you stroll along the trail.

Best of all, it’s completely free!

Nelson Elementary Eagles continue to soar all year long—never letting up, always flying strong in that V formation! 🦅

Today we celebrated the Terrific Kids of Nelson Elementary, highlighting the character trait of the month: Honor. These students truly embody what it means to lead with integrity, kindness, and positive character in their everyday lives.

Talk about an original—at Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon, we don’t just show up… we knock it out of the ballpark! ⚾️

Miss Sandra McIntosh brought the magic to Lopez Elementary with her battery-operated pup, Pierre, who serenaded the room with “Only You” and had the kids fully engaged. 🎶🐾

The story? A sweet little mouse searching for a hug from his mama—warming hearts and sparking smiles all around. But we didn’t just bring a story… we brought a whole Broadway moment right into the classroom! 🎭✨

That’s what we do—create joy, inspire young minds, and make a difference in our community.
