Support Local Small™ is an initiative to lighten the economic hardships due to the effects the Covid-19 virus is having on small businesses within our community. Local small businesses are the fabric of any and every community. Without small businesses, employment suffers, community morale declines, and citizens have fewer choices for products, services, and entertainment. Small businesses also serve as the pulse of the economy in most areas.
Many small businesses are temporarily closed, and many are open with only limited hours. Many have furloughed or laid off staff during this crisis. Communities need their local small businesses. And now more than ever, the local small businesses need the communities. The Support Local Small™ initiative will provide needed funding for these local small businesses, without any cost to them. Customers may purchase the Support Local Small™ T-shirt and designate a local small business at the same time. $10 from the sale of each shirt will go back to the business designated by the purchaser. Shirts will be shipped within 3 to 4 business days after an order is placed. This initiative not only helps the local small businesses in our catalog, but it also helps a t-shirt printer… another local small business. And you, the customer, get a great looking, high quality t-shirt with a wonderful “Shop Local” message. Our t-shirts aren’t just a lightweight cotton shirt that will shrink or fade the first time you wash it. Our shirts are high quality heavyweight (6 oz) preshrunk cloth, which may be worn for years to come.
Do you want to show even more love for a specific local small business? You’ll also have the option to provide from $5 to $20 in a Virtual “tip jar”. 100% of the revenue from the “tip jar” will go directly to that business - so it can help support the business even more, or even be distributed among their staff. Please consider helping your community by helping a local small business. Once your t-shirt is received, wear it with pride, to show others that YOU support local small businesses.
