If only it were that easy! 😂☕️🏐

Getting 30 VVA athletes to Medellín took a lot more than fitting everyone in a cup—it took planning, teamwork, dedicated coaches, and families who trusted us with an unforgettable adventure. 🇨🇴

Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible. The memories will stay with us long after the cup is empty! 💙💛

Meet Coach Jorge Garbey! 💙💛

A Cuban volleyball coach and former player for the Cuban men’s national team, Coach Jorge brings decades of international experience to the court. As a player, he helped Cuba win gold at the 1979 Pan American Games and competed in the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

His coaching career includes three Olympic gold medals as an assistant coach with Cuba’s women’s national team: Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, and Sydney 2000. He also led the Dominican Republic women’s team to gold at the 2003 Pan American Games.

We’re proud to welcome Coach Jorge to the VVA family. Join us in giving him a warm welcome! 🏐
