Due to Covid and starting a museum, our little society has suffered. We are trying to get our monthly meetings started up again. We hope to see you on Nov. 7th when Mr. Eddie Price will be here at 5:30 to talk about Riverboats, and I am sure if you remember Eddie it will be a very entertaining program.

Saturday February 19th, at 2:30 p.m. there will be a presentation in
the museum meeting room, by historian, Mr. Ronald Van Stockum. In addition
to being a historian, he is also a biologist, author of many books, an
environmental attorney, and recently added play write to his credentials.
He will speak on George Washington's early life experience that influenced
his life and decisions as a soldier and President. These experiences
include religion, military and slavery. There will be a meet and greet,
for those that may want a personalized book, light refreshments will be
served, and the presentation will last approximately 50 minutes. This
meeting is free and open to the public.
