Oh, my goodness. I was so worried I would accidently delete the pictures again and not get them posted, that I downloaded them twice on my computer. Well then silly me I deleted the whole dang SD card from my camera. I also somehow lost all Janets, and a few others pictures I am sorry guys. (I will look in the cloud for them). 🤭 (If I even have the cloud on.) 😟 Ok, so these set of pictures are the end of setting up before the start of the parade. Thanks again everyone. Small community fun as it should be. Thanks to Jerry Welcome for organizing and also Bruce Burke for all he does for the community.

This is the start of setting up for the parade and our bake sale here at the club. I would like to say, We at Ruby Creek Conservation and Recreation Club would like to thank everyone who came and supported our club by stopping by our bake sale. THANK YOU. And a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated the baked goods and put in the time to help out. I did it again, Oh My. I thought I could finish off the pictures here, geeze oh petes. Oh well enjoy.

Parade part 3. Well, I am getting old. And I kind of knew this would happen. These are the back end of the parade. I wanted this to be the start, but I loaded them wrong. (Scroll down to the first postings of the parade to start at the beginning. 🤭) Well at least I didn't delete them this year. As long as everyone enjoys seeing them, I'm happy.

Well, I can only post so many pictures at a time, so I will start with the parade pictures first. And if this all works out, once it's said and done the very start of the pictures should be the bake sale then the setting up for the parade then waiting for parade to start then the parade. Will see once everything is downloaded, I may be editing. 😀 Well, these are the start of the parade.

Meeting Saturday went well. We have elections coming up. President, Treasurer, and 3 board members. Jim is still looking for someone to help him out in printing up mailing address labels and learning his duties as treasurer. Janet has mentioned she would like to retire as President. Any interest in these positions? Come to the next meeting. Our next event is the Bake Sale this Saturday, 8-15- 2026 from 9am til1pm. So, while you're setting up for the Thunder in the Creek Parade, grab yourself some yummy treats. We will also have our 50/50 Raffle tickets for sale. The drawing for that will be Sept. 12th at our 4pm meeting at the club. Please remember if you can help out at any of our events, we could really use the help of our members. Also, if you have ideas for events and can help work them, please come to the meetings. The biggest problem we are running into is getting enough help to run these events. Well, that's all I have. See you all at the Thunder in the Creek.

Meeting this Saturday Aug 8th 10am at the club. We will be discussing the bake sale. We need to find out who all is willing to donate baked goods or help in setting up and selling. Also, newsletters are going out. If you are a dues paying member and didn't receive your newsletter. Please let Jim Williams know. See you Saturday.
