Happy to help!! 🚒🚒

At approx. 8:00 p.m. Masonville fire dept. Was requested on U.S. 2&41 north of 25.5 lane for a semi trailer on fire. While in route we were informed that the trailer was carrying plastic chips and the trailer was disconnected from the tractor. Upon arrival the rear half of the trailer was fully engulfed, firefighters were able to knock down the fire with two handlines and the deluge gun. Genes towing was called to help overhaul the trailer and make sure the fire was completely extinguished. The trailer was a complete loss, cause of fire is still under investigation.We cleared the scene at 12:05. We were assisted on scene by Brampton Volunteer Fire Dept and Auxiliary, Masonville EMS, Delta County Sheriff's Office, MI Gene's Towing & Recovery and Michigan State Police

New Years Eve is just a few days away!!!

Which means we're down the wire for donations. We are also in great need of donations for our fundraiser. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We weren't able to do anything last year, and this is the only one this year.

I was gonna go out today, but it seems the weather may halt that, unfortunately. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow. We greatly appreciate any and all donations!

Heads up...

There will be new stop signs placed on all three directions of travel at 3rd Avenue North and North 30th Street beginning around May 17th, weather permitting. These new stop signs are needed to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce accidents in the immediate vicinity of this intersection.
