Long before collections begin, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

✅ We coordinate with farms and hosts, plan outreach, line up volunteers, and spend weeks showing up at markets and community events so neighbors know a collection is coming to them.

✅ When the day arrives, volunteers power every event — with 3–6 hours of setup, collecting, sorting, and delivery.

Every photo here represents real people choosing to show up for their community in Loudoun County.

This work only happens because people care enough to make it happen 💚

Give Choose is just 6 weeks away! It is THE most important fundraiser we do all year.

We’re raising $1,200 to keep Pumpkins For Pigs active right here in Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.

When people know where to donate, they do.
When they see us out in the community, donations follow.
And when donations happen, animals are fed and good food stays out of landfills.

If we don’t fund the essentials, we lose that local presence.
And when we disappear from view, the impact fades fast.

Regardless of which one you choose, remember your local goats will love to eat it when you are done with it!

While municipalities do their best to offer pick up and turn them into mulch for use on public properties (👏 for reuse), there are usually still too many that end up in the landfill.

As you pick up, decorate, and enjoy your live tree, consider the best alternative to the landfill. Trees are precious resources.

1. Remove decorations and metal from the tree, wreaths, and garland
2. Put it on a tarp or blanket
3. Drop off at your local goat farm for feed
