Through The Pain

Through The Pain INC. is a network for individuals, families, and caregivers affected by illnesses associated with chronic pain.

05/12/2026

Last week, Inc. had the honor of being represented at the American Red Cross Northeast Division Summit 2026, where our Founder and President, Dima Hendricks, served as a keynote speaker.
During the “Leading the Way” summit, Dima shared a powerful message centered on resilience, advocacy, leadership, and the importance of using our voices to create meaningful change within underserved communities.
As a sickle cell warrior, mental health advocate, author, and founder of Inc., Dima continues to use her platform to educate, empower, and inspire others while amplifying the lived experiences of individuals impacted by Sickle Cell Disease.
We are deeply grateful to the American Red Cross for the opportunity to share our mission on such an impactful stage and for their continued commitment to saving lives and strengthening communities.
From advocacy to action, Inc. remains committed to creating spaces where warriors and families feel seen, heard, and empowered.

✊🏾Motivational Monday

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” — Nelson Mandela

Some days the pain feels too heavy. Some dreams feel too far away. Some healing journeys feel endless.
But progress is often happening long before you can see the results.
We want every warrior, caregiver, and supporter to remember this: You have already survived moments you once thought would break you.

Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep pushing forward one step, one prayer, one day at a time.
What feels impossible today may one day become part of your testimony. ❤️

The final session of Lovin is tonight!

Tonight we’re talking about real intimacy, and it’s not just about s*x. It’s about feeling safe, seen, and loved even when pain is doing the most. We’ll focus on how to keep a culture of appreciation and affection when physical intimacy is limited, and we’ll learn “softened start-ups” so needs around touch and s*x can be communicated without pressure, guilt, or shutdown.

If you want practical tools to stay connected and keep love strong during high-pain seasons, this is the session you don’t want to miss.

You can still hop on and register now!
