Marge Crispin Center The Center AKA Braintree Holidays/Friends, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization and is classified as a 509 (a) (1) private non-profit. are tax-deductible.

Marge Crispin was a compassionate woman who had the ability to foresee and initiate programs to assist the needy residents of Braintree as well as the elderly of the South Shore. During the economically turbulent times of the 1970's, Marge, her husband Don and sister-in-law Grace Crispin knew many Braintree families who needed extra help with food and utilities such as electricity, telephone, and

heat. At that time they began ''The Braintree Food Pantry'' and ''Braintree Holidays/Friends''. After her untimely death in 1992, her husband Don continued her programs until his unfortunate death in 1994. Since that time, Braintree Holidays/Friends, Inc. has been governed by a Board of Directors who serve in a volunteer capacity. Our Board of Directors is comprised of civic and business leaders. FUNDING

The Internal Revenue Service has determined that Braintree Holidays/Friends, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization and has further classified Braintree Holidays as a 509 (a) (1) private non-profit organization that is supported primarily by donations. Any donations made to Braintree Holidays/Friends, Inc. We depend primarily on an annual letter campaign and various other fundraising events to support the Food Pantry and Holiday Basket Programs. Grant writing is an intergral part of our funding requests. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation please contact our office at the address noted above.

🎒📚 Help Us Fill Backpacks for Braintree Students! ✏️🍎

The Marge Crispin Center is collecting new backpacks, school supplies, and fun extras to help local children start the school year with confidence and excitement!

We're looking for items such as:
🎒 New backpacks
✏️ Pencils, pens & crayons
📓 Notebooks & folders
🖍️ Markers & colored pencils
✂️ Glue sticks, scissors & rulers
🧸 Small toys, fidgets, and other fun surprises to tuck into each backpack

📍 Drop-off Location:

46 Lincoln Street
Braintree, MA

🕘 Drop-off Hours:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

🎒📚 Back-to-School Smiles Are on the Way! ✏️🎨

The Marge Crispin Center is gearing up for our Backpack Drive, and thanks to some amazing community partners, we're off to a fantastic start!

A huge THANK YOU to Five Below Braintree for their incredibly generous donation of school supplies, fun activities, and toys that will help fill backpacks with smiles for local children heading back to school this fall. 🎒💙

A very special shout-out to Officer Mike Arki of the Braintree Police Department, who made this wonderful connection possible. Thank you, Mike, for thinking of the Marge Crispin Center, and thank you to you and your team for coordinating and delivering these donations. Your kindness and support mean so much to the children and families we serve.

Together, we're helping students head back to school feeling excited, confident, and ready to learn!
