Tonight Holbrook Patrolmen’s Union will be hosting its 1st Haunted House at 800 South Franklin St., Holbrook, MA. Oct 28-29, 2016, 6-10pm.

We are happy to “pass the torch” for another great cause, please come out and show your support.

We want to thank both the Liberty and Highlands Elementary School PTOs for 30 years of wonderful haunts and family fun at the Braintree’s Haunted House.

Though we are saddened to see this come to an end, we are happy to help announce the Halloween fun and celebrations will continue on… the Holbrook Patrolmen’s Union will be hosting its 1st Haunted House at 800 South Franklin St., Holbrook, MA. Oct 27-29, 2016, 6-10pm.

We are happy to “pass the torch” for another great cause, please come out and show your support. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces!

Unfortunately due to logistics and resources Braintree's Haunted House is currently not planned to open for the 2015 season.

Attention Volunteers: We will be at the haunted house on Sunday (11/9) starting at 10a.

Unfortunately today we didn't have a lot of volunteers but are very thankful for the two people that did show up to lend a hand. However, despite a good effort we were not able to get all the work done.

We will be back at it on Sunday and we are hoping that we will be able to finish so that we do not need to spend the money to extend our insurance. We need to keep our coverage going until we have moved out of 90 Pond Street so the longer it takes, the less we are able to donate to the PTOs and the longer it will take to get the PTOs their donation.

Please help us wrap up the 2014 Braintree's Haunted House this Sunday. We'll be there starting at 10a and there until at least 2p.

Volunteer Update -
This Saturday (11/8) starting at 10am we will be at 90 Pond Street to move props, strobe lights, animatronics, costumes and everything else that couldn't get wet last weekend into the trailers. Whether you can come for an hour or spend the day we'd love to see you and appreciate the help. As we saw last weekend, when we have a great turn out the work is easy and goes quickly. We are hoping for the same turn out this weekend.

Volunteer Update: We had a tremendous turnout of volunteers today and were able to get a lot of work done.

* We moved nearly all of the 5'x8', 4'x8', 3'x8' and 2'x8' panels over to our Plain Street location. The panels we didn't move are the ones that go into the trailers at Pond Street (stone, paneling, doorways, and other specialty panels).

* The 3rd floor of the haunted house has been completely moved out of. Compressors are moved and everything is cleaned up.

* The 2nd floor of the haunted house has been been completely cleaned out. All props, panels, staples, screws and trash has been moved. And the floor has been vacuumed.

* The 1st floor is nearly clean. We consolidated everything to the 1st floor kitchen area that needs to go into the trailers on 90 Pond Street.

* Street signs have been disassembled and the signs into our building have been taken down.

* The stairwells have been cleaned and vacuumed.

We had a lot of people there and were able to do everything we could do in the rain. What we couldn't do is load the electronics, decorations and other items that can't get wet into the trailers at 90 Pond Street. This is something we can only do during daylight and only during dry weather. We hope to finish on our first dry Saturday which we hope is November 8th. Thank you for everyone that came out and helped pack the first trailer. We got alot accomplished and will let everyone know when we will meet again to finish the 2014 season. Please check our status daily.

Happy Halloween be safe out there tonight.

Tomorrow rain or shine, we will moving panels please if you can lift and have a truck, trailers etc... we will be at 90 Pond St at 10 am moving the panels to 26 Plain St.
