I’m working through an annotated read of this one myself, so I’ve spent more time on it this time around. But it offers a deconstructed and decolonized lens to the Tarot that I think is important for a deeper perspective.

Both Waite’s and Crowley’s take on the Tarot as far as its use in cartomancy are frustrating in a lot of ways because they are both interpreted from a dogmatic and binary perspective.

This is why decks like the Seasons of the Witch Tarot, Cosma Visions, and Samantha’s Rainbow Moon, Macabre, and Sweet Forager’s Tarot are, to me, gold standard in Tarot. They are all written/created using a framework that brings a more deconstructed interpretation to the table, accounting for more depth and holding more space at the reading table. 🫶🏼

I hope these darlings had the best Book Club Retreat weekend ever! Such a sweet little token they gave me to take home after their Tarot party last night. 🥹🫶🏼

Absolutely obsessed with this scent! 🎃

Yukon’s Apothecary and Mercantile candles have well balanced scent profiles, and they definitely have some longevity on them!
