And one last THANK YOU to our amazing Operation Sandwich volunteers. This summer would not have been possible without the incredible people who showed up to pack food, load trucks, make deliveries, set up sites, and help distribute meals to local families.

Whether you volunteered once or joined us week after week, your time, energy, and willingness to help made a real difference. Together, you helped make sure food reached families throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area.

We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of the Operation Sandwich team and helping us make a difference in our community.

A HUGE thank you to our Operation Sandwich community partners!

This summer, so many generous organizations opened their doors to help us pack, store, and distribute food to families throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Thank you to Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa and First Lutheran Church in Pine River for providing space for packing and serving as pickup sites. We’re also grateful to Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes, Crosslake Community School, and Veterans Park in Jenkins for serving as pickup sites and helping us bring food closer to families in their communities.

And a very special thank you to the Lakes Area Food Shelf Baxter location for serving as our main Brainerd site for packing, distribution, and storage this summer. Your space and support made a tremendous difference!

We are incredibly grateful for each of you and the role you played in making Operation Sandwich a success. Thank you for helping us get food where it was needed most!

Operation Sandwich was so fortunate to have the support of the The Outreach Program of Brainerd Lakes this summer. From providing space to store food for our Northern Loop to lending us their large truck to haul food from pickups to storage and out to our distribution sites, they were there every step of the way!

A special shoutout to Tina, their wonderful organizer, and Tom and Laura, also known as the “A Team!” They were always willing to make themselves available for food order pickups, deliveries, and everything in between.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, flexibility, and willingness to jump in and help. Thank you for helping us get food where it needed to go and making Operation Sandwich a success!

We are accepting the following donations at The Bridge on 7th. We are not able to accept women's clothing at this time. Thank you for supporting your community!

Donations are accepted on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm and the first Thursday of each month from 3-5pm. Please drop off items at the shelter (1926 S 7th Street, Brainerd). Refer to the list provided of needed items.

We are almost there! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we're closing in on our $100K Operation Sandwich goal—and we're so close to making it happen!

Now we're asking for one final push. Every donation helps us feed local kids when school isn't in session. Together, we can finish this year strong for our community kids.

We are so proud to partner with Emily Food Shelf and Resource Center. Our team member, Chris, provides weekly on-site assistance to families and individuals in the Emily area. Partnership makes our community stronger!

After years of informally helping neighbors access resources, we officially became the Emily Food Shelf & Resource Center in 2025. In partnership with community service providers such as Bridges of Hope and Crow Wing County, we help local individuals and families navigate challenges and connect with resources that support stability and independence.
