Camp Confidence Community Day is back, and we need some helping hands to make it a great one!

📅 Saturday, October 10
⏰ 12 PM – 4 PM

We’re looking for volunteers to help throughout the day with:

🚌 Shuttling people to and from cars
🥣 Soup Patio
🔥 S’mores & Bonfire
🎉 Activities
🏠 Cabin showing
🧹 End of day clean up
🛒 Camp Store

There’s a little something for everyone — just pick a spot that sounds fun to you and come join us!

Whether you’re one of our regular volunteers or have never volunteered at Camp before, Community Day is a great chance to jump in, meet some people, and help us create a fun and welcoming afternoon for our guests.

Thanks Initiative Foundation for your support of LGF!

Small nonprofits can make a mighty impact.

The Initiative Foundation is now accepting applications for Small and Mighty Nonprofit Grants, designed to support the program and project needs of small nonprofits making a difference across Central Minnesota.

Grants of $3,000 to $10,000 are available to eligible nonprofits with $100,000 or less in annual operating expenses. Funding can support work related to basic needs, economic opportunity, support for people impacted by crime or discrimination, and non-clinical mental health and substance use support.

Have a good idea that could strengthen your community? We want to hear it.

Safety is ALWAYS #1 on our boats and on our volunteers minds. Earlier this summer one of our guests had a medical emergency. Our crew, lead by Captain Steve Titze, sprang into action and safely and with utmost care handled the situation getting our guest to shore and awaiting medical personnel.

We’re happy to report our guest did not suffer any permanent harm and is doing well. All of us from LGF are grateful to Steve, Darlene and Paul for their dedication!

2026 LGF Season . . . Thats a wrap!

We’re so proud of all our volunteers who give unselfishly of their time and talents to make these smiles and memories.

Our last trips of 2026 included the funsters from Blue Sky Support Services, the Baxter Lions and a great group of kids from Eagle View Elementry School.

Now it’s time to celebrate with our volunteers, clean and pack the boats for their winters nap and plan for an even bigger 2027 season. We’ll have some fun events coming up so stay tuned!
