Time is running out, pre-registration for Marsh and Meadows hunt test June 20 & 21, 2026 closes tomorrow June 9th at midnight register on huntsecretary.com. Come test your dog, have some fun, win prizes, eat good food.
Walk -ups are also welcomed both days. Registration will be in club house at Central Minnesota Retriever Club from 6:30-7:30 am tests start at 8

VIRTUAL SEMINARS

Did you know there are 2 Virtual Seminar options available on our website? Judges are required to attend a Seminar every 2-years so with the cost of fuel and Mother Nature’s unpredictable weather, maybe an online Seminar is the option for you! Attendance is limited so if you don’t need a Seminar, please allow those that do to have 1st priority. Details and registration links are on the EVENTS / SEMINARS page of our website!

All judges are required to attend a Judge and Handlers Seminar once every two (2) years. Use the links below to check your seminar due date or review the Judges and Handlers seminar manual.

Central Minnesota

Unfortunately we must cancel our regularly scheduled January Informal Trial this weekend originally planned for Sunday, January 18. Our standing rule is if the temperature and/or wind chill is below zero we will cancel. We do this out of concern for the safety of our hired teenage help, our judges, contestants and our dogs.

At the moment we are considering rescheduling our January Informal for Sunday, January 18. We are looking ahead at the weather forecast and may make a decision over the weekend. The weather forecast for next week isn't looking a whole lot warmer at this moment, but that is a long way out yet and we all know the weather can change quickly.

If we are not able to reschedule for January 25, we hope the weather is much better next month. Our informal trials are usually the 3rd Sunday of every month, December through April. We hope to see you in the future!
