This year our Lenten Soup Suppers will be held on Tuesdays, all except our very first one which will be held on Thursday February 19th at 5:30 pm. The remaining suppers will all be held on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm. Join us for fellowship and some very good food followed by a time of worship, prayer, singing, and a devotion. We gather as the body of Christ, remembering how his followers gathered in groups coming together to worship, praise and be strengthened as we journey through Lent. Looking forward to seeing you here.

Join us for our Ash Wednesday Service, 5:30 pm February 18th. Historically the palm fronds raised in celebration as Christ entered Jerusalem, are those burned and used for Ash Wednesday. Having ashes placed on one's forehead is symbolic of our pressing in and joining Christ as we are lay down our lives in submission to the one, who on Easter morning was raised to life, bringing us new life through God's power. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and Christ's journey to the cross. Come let us join together on this day of remembrance.

Our hope is to make all who come through the doors to feel like they have come home. This is Christ's invitation to us, come home. Return to the One who welcomes you with open arms. We seek to love all who enter with hospitality of welcome, rest, and comfort.
Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 am. We extend an invitation of welcome and fellowship to receive God's love, grace and mercy lived out through the members of our church.

We had a wonderful turn out for our block party supporting National Night Out. Thank you to the EMS team of Mr. Owens and Banks who came and thank you to Mayor Groves who really got into the action by helping us set up and the organizers who stopped by for the chili tasting.
Lots of people from the surrounding neighborhoods turned out for free hotdogs, games, pumpkin decorating and hanging out getting to know our neighbors.
