Last post as we are all home safely. Between our convention sessions, state meetings, and competitions, we tried to visit places around the city. We didn’t spend much time in our rooms other than to sleep. You just never know if these are once in a lifetime trips. We owe a huge thank you to the administration at Bradley High School and the ETBSD school board for allowing and supporting our students in these and many more competitions. We could not provide our students these opportunities without them.
As this closes out the 2025-26 FCCLA year, I will leave you with a few random photos that haven’t made our other daily posts….😊

These kids rocked this competition! We are bringing home 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and a top 10 National qualifier placing 3rd overall in the nation. There were over 10,000 in attendance this year which makes this accomplishment even greater. We brought our best and they did not let you down!
We should know exact placements for all of them in a couple of weeks. Until then, here are a few highlights from the day. Thank you to everyone who has supported this group through prayer, fundraising, or helping them practice. We appreciate you!

Final day of competition was today. Kailyn and Katelyn presented their projects. Once finished we headed out to our Nation’s capital and on to the Library of Congress where we got our library cards and headed into the reading room. It’s hard to explain how massive and breathtaking the buildings and the reading room are. Tonight Quinton walked the stage placing 2nd in the nation in the challenge test: Math for Financial Literacy. Tomorrow we await results for the top 10 STAR event competitors. These kids have worked hard and walked many of miles. Wish them luck.❤️

Another full day. Started off with Anna and Ms. Doster heading off to judge while Quinton, Raleigh, and Karley competed. The rest attended the conference and pin traded before we all attended a state meeting and then headed off to the ballgame. More competitions tomorrow❤️

Got an early start this morning with Anna and Quinton competing in their challenge tests followed by a day of sight seeing before we attend our first state meeting and opening session tonight. Thank you to those who prayed for safe travels. We made it a little after lunch yesterday and have hit the ground running.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the support you showed Bradley FCCLA yesterday. Whether you cooked a dessert, shared the post, placed a bid, or won an item, you all played a huge role in helping a great group of kids today. I hope you had as much fun with this fundraiser as we did. We appreciate each and every one of you helping us make this successful! ❤️
