The holiday giving season is here! Starting today, tags with the Christmas wishes of 200 seniors and 175 families in our Bradford community will begin popping up in local businesses. If you want to help, grab a tag, purchase and wrap a gift, and return it to the location on the back of the tag. This is a great activity for families who want to bring a little joy to someone who is having a hard time this season.

The ELF Fund 2025 Christmas gift program is open to children age 17 and younger, and senior citizens age 60 and over, who live in the Bradford Area School District. Apply online at

And that’s a wrap! A believed record year with nearly 200 families and 140 seniors helped, and approximately 2,000 gifts out the door in three hours.

None of this would be possible without our all the support we get starting with our drop off volunteers headed up by Pasty Arrowsmith and her crew who accept gifts, shop and wrap. Many others who helped this year by lending a hand in other ways.

Thank you to all our elves today and to our special Santa’s helpers from Futures and the BHS Volunteer Club. And we can’t forget our four legged reindeer-Ellie.

Another big thank you to Chris Work for donating the space for this year’s distribution center.

And to our community for yet another showing of how big Bradford’s heart truly is- helping our neighbors in need. No child or senior will go without at least one (or two, or three 😊) gifts this year.

Thank you to all who commented on our last post. As of now we are in good shape and ready for our big day on Friday. We do have a great community, an awesome board of directors and super group of volunteers who help out. As of Friday, we should be distributing between 1,500 and 2,000 gifts to 196 families and 140 seniors. One of our bigger years yet.

Unfortunately we have roughly 100 tags that were taken from local trees that did not bear gifts returned. We must now send out shoppers to make sure no child or senior goes without a gift.

If by chance you have a gift purchased and simply forgot to drop it off, we can still take it! Simply send us a message on Messenger so we know not to shop for your child or senior.

We would greatly appreciate it.
