🛹 Join us at the mini-ramp at Elizabeth’s Park on Sunday, June 21, from 10:00 a.m.–Noon as we celebrate !

We'll be serving hot dogs and lemonade, sharing real-time skateboarding tips and featuring demo sessions from local skaters. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just curious about skateboarding, everyone is welcome!

Come learn more about the Elizabeth’s Park renovation project, which will bring a skatepark to Bradford. We're excited to celebrate the recent award of a $400,000 Land and Water Conservation Fund grant, helping push the project's first phase across the finish line!

We hope you'll join us for a fun morning of skating, community and celebration.

We had a blast connecting with the community at this year!

Thank you to our volunteers and everyone who stopped by our table at Denny Park this weekend to support our ongoing Elizabeth’s Park project while enjoying beverages from around the world. 🍹🌎

Thanks to your support, we're making exciting progress toward funding the first phase of this renovation, which will bring a multi-sport court, ADA-accessible walking paths and a skatepark to our community park. 🏀🛹🛼🚶‍♀️

We're looking forward to sharing more BIG updates on our fundraising efforts soon!

In the meantime, you can learn more about the project and make a contribution here:

A special thank you to the Bradford Business Association for the tremendous work that goes into organizing this wonderful community celebration each year. Events like GlobeFest help bring our community together, and we're grateful to be a part of it! 🙌

🌎🎉 The 3rd Annual Bradford Spring Globe Festival is happening THIS Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m.!

A huge thank you to the Bradford Business Association for all the hard work that goes into making this fantastic community event possible each year.

Be sure to stop by the Bradford Parks & Recreation Commission (BPRC) table at Denny Park, where we'll be serving up a flight of globally inspired beverages (non-alcoholic 😉) as part of our fundraising efforts for Phase I of the Elizabeth's Park renovation project.

Your support will help provide:

🏀 A new multi-sport court
🛹 A skatepark
♿ ADA-accessible walking paths

Come sample drinks from around the world, learn more about the project and enjoy everything happening at the park—including live music and a bouncy house for the kids!

🌷 Globefest is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate spring, connect with neighbors, support local businesses and learn about Bradford's unique history. Main Street will be filled with local businesses, vendors, artisans, non-profits, food, activities and more.

🌍 Why the Globe?

Bradford is home to the first globe manufactured in the Northern Hemisphere. Local farmer and craftsman James Wilson pioneered globe-making for everyday people, and during the festival, visitors can stop by the Bradford Historical Society Museum to view an original Wilson Globe.

We can't wait to see you there!

Mother Nature had other plans for us this weekend! Due to the recent rain and river conditions, tomorrow's Spring Paddle the Border event is officially cancelled.

We’re sending a huge thank you to everyone who planned to join us, and we look forward to seeing you all for the Fall Paddle the Border on Oct. 4! 🛶🍂 Keep an eye on our page for updates and details in the coming months.

🌊🚣 Spring Paddle The Border 🚣🌊

Join us for the 23rd Annual Paddle The Border (PTB) event on Sunday, May 17 from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM along the beautiful Connecticut River!

📍 Woodsville Community Field (28 Connecticut St, Woodsville, NH 03785)

Paddle The Border was created to bring and communities together while celebrating our shared natural treasure — the Connecticut River. This long-running event highlights the river’s natural, cultural, historic, scenic and recreational resources, while supporting the local economy.

🛶 Shuttle Information:

A FREE shuttle will run from the take-out to the launch site at:
• 10:00 AM & 11:00 AM

Please drop off your boat, gear and passengers at the launch site first, then drive your vehicle to the take-out location where the shuttle will bring you back. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes, so plan for extra time with traffic and unloading.

🎶🍔 After the paddle, stick around for music and a cookout at Bedell Bridge State Park!

This event is held twice yearly (Spring & Fall), weather permitting. No rain date is scheduled.

Bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy a fun day on the river with the community! 🌞
