Auxiliary PA District 19 Veterans of Foreign War District 19 includes VFW Auxiliaries of Pennsylvania counties of Clarion, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, McKean, Venango and Warren

The Auxiliary to the VFW is one of the nation’s oldest veterans’ service organizations and our members are the relatives of those who have served in overseas combat. We have 475,000 members representing all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign-based Auxiliaries who volunteer millions of hours and give millions of dollars to support veterans, military service personnel, and thei

r families. We are a voice for veterans on Capitol Hill and are instrumental in assisting the VFW pass or block legislation that impacts veterans and their families. We are one of the top ten providers of volunteer hours in the VA medical system. Every year, members fund-raise millions of dollars for charitable projects that benefit veterans and their families. We also provide hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships for our nation’s youth. With more than 4,000 Auxiliaries, there is likely one in your area working to improve the lives of America’s uncommon heroes.

Announing the launch of a t-shirt fundraiser to support Su***de Prevention Programs and Training within the VFW Department of Pennsylvania.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will directly support efforts to raise awareness of the veteran su***de crisis and provide vital training focused on recognizing the warning signs of someone in crisis and responding effectively.

Your support helps us continue the mission of education, awareness, and prevention for our veterans and their families.

District 19 Auxiliary meeting will be Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Franklin VFW Auxiliary #1835 Post 1835, 411 9th St, Franklin, PA
Auxiliary meeting starts at 2pm, Post meeting starts at 2:30pm

Please come a little early to sign up for raffles and gather important paperwork. Nominations, Elections and Installation will be on the agenda.
Madam Department President, Robin Kohler and COS Karen Hoover will be our guests of honor. Let's have a great turnout for them!

We are honored to have grown our center enough to not only provide housing for many veterans who have served our country, but we also now have resources to help them rebuild their lives. What started as a vision to support those who sacrificed for our freedom has become a place of hope. We are proud to stand beside our veterans and provide not just shelter, but the support and community they deserve.

One week from today is Mother's Day. This year, we would like to highlight our VFW AND Auxiliary mothers. Did you join the VFW Auxiliary under the eligibility of your mother? Or were you recruited to join the VFW Auxiliary by your mother? Do you and your mother volunteer together? Or is your volunteer service in her honor? Or is there a mother figure you've met in the Auxiliary who deserves a little celebrating?

Shout out your VFW Auxiliary moms either in the comments or by direct message or email ([email protected], subject: Mother's Day). If you would like to send a photo, we welcome them sent as email attachments, but please do not send links. All submissions must be received by noon CST on Friday, May 8, 2026 to be included.
